MEMBERSHIP
Membership in the APA is designed to recognize as many pickleball National Federations around the world as possible. Beginning with a basic set of requirements applicable to all National Federations and extending to requirements applicable to more developed organizations, there is a APA membership classification that will fit your needs. As your organization develops – so does your opportunity to progress to a full voting member of the APA.
APA Membership Application
Please complete the APA member application only if you are currently in a CF region that is NOT affiliated with the APA. Please provide as much of the following information as possible. Upon receipt, we will review your submission to determine the classification of your APA membership.
Class C Membership
(Non-Voting)
A copy of your minutes showing that authorisation for the application for APA membership was approved by an appropriate body of the organisation.
A copy of your governing documents, such as your Articles of Incorporation, constitution, bylaws (required), statutes, rules, and any other relevant documents.
A list of your Directors and Officers
A formal board resolution and a signed, binding commitment to observe and abide by APA Bylaws, and the rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and decisions of APA.
Class B Membership
(Non-Voting)
All requirements for Class C Membership
Evidence that the organisation is an established national governing body for the sport of Pickleball in its country and/or is the leading governing body for the sport of Pickleball in its country.
A signed, binding commitment to observe and abide by the World Anti-Doping Code as well as the jurisdiction and decisions of the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
Class A Membership
(Non-Voting)
All requirements for Class B & C Membership
Evidence of a minimum of 1,000 active, dues-paying members of the National Federation.
Evidence that the organisation is capable of choosing a national team and sending that national team to certain international events.
